Print – Brand Portfolio

Problem

To coincide with the launch of a new value brand ‘Levi Strauss Signature’. Leadership wanted a large format printed portfolio that made clear distinction between all of their brands and their particular classes of innovation.

Solution

As the Art Director — working under the direction of my CD, designed the layout and form factor of this piece. We cast and shot all models, chose photographers and locations — I also directed all retouching, did all design and illustration and attended the press check.


Interactive Employee ‘Fit Guide’

Problem

LS&Co. wanted to have an interactive piece to hand out to potential new employees that contained a wealth of information about the company’s values, brands, environment and other benefit data.

Solution

As Art Director, I designed the UI and UX chose all photography and additional content. We shot video interviews where the CEO and other key leaders spoke about LS&Co’s position on a variety of topics germane to the culture and future aspirations for this beloved industry icon.


Problem

Levi’s wanted an entertaining in-store video that captured the spirit and attitude of their rock and roll roots while featuring new products and styles available.

Solution

Road trip! Go on tour with abrasive Swedish rockers The Raveonettes — accompanied my San Francisco’s classic rock combo, Vue on tour starting in NYC, hitting Boston and finally Philadelphia. As Art Director, I designed the motion graphics and titles, shot still photography and video and directed the video product pods peppered throughout the looping, long format piece.
