Problem
For the 2019 Photoshop & Premiere Elements product updates the Adobe Studio team (who usually selects these) entrusted me to select the brand primary imagery to be used on the packaging and marketing materials.
Solution
We selected a pair of playful moments to remember with a pop of brand color in each. The color theme spilled into the gatefold layout to add some visual punch to this years cleaner aesthetic.

Problem
Each month — a new in application Welcome Screen is produced and is served up at every app start up. A perfect time to communitate feature updates and offers to their user base. In this instance the problem was to demonstrate how Sensei (Adobe AI) powered feature, Smart Trim detects and selects the best cuts from your footage.
Solution
Finding the right type of footage to clearly demonstrate this feature was key. The snow park situation was perfect for it’s continuous stream of on/ off action while further appealing to the growing market of action sports video enthusiasts.

Problem
How do we differentiate our photo editing product from the barrage of photo filters and in app editing options to our primary ‘memory-keeper’ audience?
Solution
Refresh packaging imagery and content layout, create monthly email promos and in-application welcome screens, develop and produce paid media and social campaigns. The paid media and social campaign featured here outperformed the previous campaign by 3 to 1.

Problem
Tell memory keepers about Photoshop Element’s new in-application print service.
Solution
Phase one included creating a landing page featuring products available using imagery created in PSE. I created PSE treated imagery and retouched them onto the product surfaces and designed the page to spark user creativity and indicate the service’s simplicity.

With features like selecting your best photos, automaticly created collages and videos and smart tags this update is like having your own photo editing robot. Introducing PSE19 — you're welcome. This is an unproduced campaign concept.
