I’m an Oakland, CA based Art + Creative Director / Illustrator / AI prompter with over 20+ years of crafting powerful branded expressions for some of the worlds best brands. I’ve worked in both large and small agencies to in-house brand studios to working directly with my own clients. I’ve created 360 global campaigns, and lead through flawless execution. With years of photo and video production experience and an 'always learning' mindset, I have gotten quite good at motion design, video, 3D modeling and animation and creating AR experiences using Aero. I am of course, an Adobe CC black belt and XD / Figma master operator.

I lead a small team at Adobe working on their Photoshop and Premiere Elements products. The Elements line is targeted at the ‘memory
keeper’ audience of DIY home users. Our team produced global communications including selecting (and retouching) hero imagery for that year, application welcome screens, site updates, videos, social, display banners, emails and packaging (the last Adobe products to be packaged. :P) I also worked closely with the dev team in Dubai in developing designs to market the new features.

We did a series of videos featuring real professionals who have experienced the University of Phoenix certificates program with outstanding career results. I was the Art Director and conceived the FFWD to your Future concept.

The client wanted a brand campaign that touted their marketplace leader position while expressing the spirit of excitement, passion and inspiration that is a huge part of the process of taking pictures. The digital hands framing device was a fun, graphical way to say 'we’re talking about digital photography' before you even read a word. My role in this campaign was Art Director and I conceived the digital hands concept.

This report was featured on the Microsoft intranet was developed as an executive report of the current state of STEM education with stats, insights and trends. I customized illustration pulled from the MS library.

TuneUp Media makes a an awesome iTunes companion app that cleans and adds meta data and album art to all of the unnamed files ('Track 1, 2'...) in your music library—an incredibly useful and time-saving service. We developed posters and animated banners that touted the cool information-adding features as agents of enlightenment and a no-brainer download for smart music enthusiasts. A viral web-cam enabled microsite was planned but not produced.

I am fluid in After Effects, Cinema 4D and Blender. I was hands-on with much of the motion direction and modeling shown here and worked with effects houses for the bigger projects.

I created the brand Modpop Industries as an outlet for my interest in translating mid-century design sensibilities into the post-modern era products. I screen print (garage-made) my designs onto T-shirts and totes and have high-quality Giclee prints on paper and large canvases for purchase on my site and in select retail establishments. A new digital offfering is in development.

It was the tenth year and to be the last one using the mostly defunct Rally Kings moniker as the hosting entity for the West Coast’s largest gathering of vintage scooter enthusiasts held each year in San Francisco in August hosted by the Black Sheep Scooter Club.
